Inspired by Japanese tissue boxes, these carved wooden containers approach storage through simplicity, care and quiet presence. Designed to hold everyday objects  –tissues, jewellery, cables, papers or small domestic fragments– they offer a way for things to remain close at hand without dispersing across a space.

Built in Mt Fuji beech wood with contrasting cherry joinery and base, the boxes retain the marks of carving on their outer surfaces, while their interiors remain calmer and smoother to the touch.

Designed not to conceal but simply to contain, they bring calm to the small dispersions of domestic life.
